The "perfect" ones spoken of in Phil. 3:15 are those who have laid hold of the truth of being risen and glorified with Christ on high; not only knowing the forgiveness of sins, but apprehending the higher truth of resurrection in Christ. And it is as these we are called to walk. This is the same perfection as is spoken of in 1 Cor. 2:6. The only perfection the apostle has before him is to be like Christ in glory. J. N. Darby.
