147: TO Him that loved us, gave Himself

1 TO Him that loved us, gave Himself,
And died to do us good;
Has washed us from our scarlet sins
In His most precious blood;
Who made us kings and priests to God,
His Father infinite;
To Him eternal glory be,
And everlasting might.

2 Through Him to God, the God most high,
Praise for all grace be given;
Whose gifts through all eternity
We'll gladly sing in heaven;
His Christ has loved us, given Himself,
And died to do us good,
Has washed us from our scarlet sins
In His own precious blood.
